Spotting Scopes with 15x Magnification

Spotting scopes with 15x magnification offer a powerful zoom eyepiece – and not one for the inexperienced user. If you need one of the best spotting scopes for target shooting or something for the coming hunting season, check out Bushnell’s selection of 15x spotting scopes.

For longer-distance target shooting or mid- to long-range hunting of slow-moving animals, a higher magnification on your scope could be the right choice for you. Anything higher than 10x magnification can work for mid- and long-range shooting, but anything over about 20 means you’re looking at sniper-level distances.

We recommend choosing a quality spotting scope that offers a range instead of a fixed magnification, especially if you’re newer to long-range shooting. This will make it easier for you to grow into the scope, rather than using it once and only for a certain activity. The more range, the more versatile your scope becomes.

If they don’t have a range of magnification, then start on the lower end and work your way up. Always counter it by checking what the objective lens is. An objective lens that is higher than 30 is going to still let you have a great range of vision when using the scope. The smaller the objective lens, the less you’ll be able to see to the left and right of your intended target.

The Legend Tactical T-Series Spotting Scope 15-45x60 not only offers 15x the magnification on your scope view but ranges up to 45x. Rather than having a fixed magnification, you can work with the scope and build up to the higher magnification levels as you increase your experience and comfort level. The objective lens sits at 60, meaning with the lower magnification levels, you will still have quite a bit of field perspective from the sides. If you plan to hunt long distance over an extended period of time, this is an incredible spotting scope to include in your pack.

This 15-45x60 spotting scope has Bushnell’s traditional high-quality ED Prime glass, which heightens clarity, sharpens vision, and provides drastic color contrasts in your viewfinder. It’s durable and made for surviving the rain and can even be temporarily submerged. Plus, it has built-in rails so that you can mount a red dot or a range finder. Lastly, its built-in MIL-hash reticle gives you a better shot on target and helps improve accuracy plus target acquisition.
