Step 2:

Select and Download Maps

1
Turn on your GPS unit and connect the USB Cord between the GPS device and your computer

2
Go to store.BushnellGPS.com, and click on 'Download Maps Here'. (Use the login you created above if prompted.)

3
Zoom in, holding the shift key while you draw a square or rectangle on the area you want a map of. The area must be at a level that can support maps, so you may need to zoom in several times. When you're at the right level, and have chosen either topo or aerial as the map download type, the box next to 'Capture Map' on the right will become yellow.

4
Click on 'Capture Map' on the right, the box to the yellow box will turn green

5
Type in a folder name and map name

6
Drag the newly created map from the top 'My Maps' area to the yellow box in the 'My GPS' area below

7
Click Download after the download button is no longer greyed-out. A pop up will appear

8
Click on the 'My GPS' radio button, and then Download

9
Click OK, and find the new drive created on your PC when you plugged in your ONIX400 in step 1. Put Aerial maps in the aerial folder and topography maps in the topo folder.
