NIGHT OPTICS - International Sales Manager #120-13
Responsible for all sales activity in arabic-speaking Middle Eastern and North African countries. Also initiates administrative aspects of sales proposals, contracts, and the U.S. ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) process.
Maximize sales of Night Optics products to arabic-speaking countries in North Africa and Middle East;
Meet/exceed aggressive sales goals by selling into target markets through Night Optics Representatives and Resellers;
Accurately forecast sales to target markets on a quarterly basis;
Market directly to target markets and providing input for Night Optics marketing campaigns;
Support sales to other international markets as required;
Coordinate with Bushnell sales organization for sales in target markets;
Recommend product enhancements/development based on interactions with target markets;
Establish and maintain contacts and credibility in the target markets to increase sales of Night Optics products;
Travel as required to meet sales goals;
Create electronic documents in standard Microsoft Office Suite programs and enter information into online systems such as ERP, CRM, and/or MRP;
Ensure that all Night Optics sales comply with the U.S. Government’s ITAR laws, rules, and regulations;
Perform other duties as assigned by Night Optics General Manager to achieve corporate objectives.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university, or five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Years of Related Experience: Minimum of five-to-ten years related experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: This position requires proven sales skills, strong knowledge and previous experience in sales of Night Vision equipment or similarly complex equipment into the target markets and ITAR; knowledge and/or experience in a military or law enforcement environment; knowledge and experience with firearms; a strong work ethic; proven ability to organize work effectively and efficiently; the proven ability to operate and sell internationally; an entrepreneurial mindset; the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages; attention to detail, yet flexibility in dealing with foreign personnel; and the ability to accomplish tasks in a high-pressure environment with short deadlines.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus.
Native arabic language proficiency strongly desired, to include ability to read and analyze professional journals, abilty to write reports and business correspondence, ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and in-country representatives.; if not native proficient, must show very strong ability to sell into arabic-speaking countries. Very high level of English fluency, to include ability to collaborate with coworkers, read and analyze professional journals, abilty to write reports and business correspondence, ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and in-country representatives.
